I just met an older gentleman with hundreds of pounds of typesetting lead if anyone is interested. He said its mostly lead with some other metals mixed in to lower the melting point to closer to 500 degrees. Tin and antinomy I think he said? Anyway, if anyone is interested, he said I could pass on his contact info. He's in NW OKC.

I have a large flat rate box somewhere full of linotype too. Some day I’ll stumble across it too and unload it. Got some bars of tin and antimony stuck back on a shelf or in a box.

I used to cast thousands of rounds when I shot competitively, like 500 years ago.
