handle is ivory micarta with 2 and 9 pin lay out





and last but not least a 7" edc in 1095 high carbon and redwood burl

3" blade
handle is stabilized redwood burl with 9 1/16" pins, single Mosaic, lanyard tube, 416 stainless steel bolster

So I was going to go over the top and make one from stainless Damascus and elephant Ivory some other touches, after putting the parts list together and figuring up the price to make it I decided to make a practice run at one, here it is. The good thing is I actually like this one enough I think I will put the other one on hold for a while.

2 1/2" blade cut from 1/8" stock thickness 0-1 tool steel, spring is also made from 1/8" 0-1.
handle is Sambar stag and 416 stainless.

The kiddo saw it and claimed it as his. Took him out yesterday evening and let him have a crack at it. We were shooting at 100 yards, at 4 inch targets. He was getting close, ut hasnt hit one yet. He just turned 5 last month, so hes still got a lot to learn. If you watch in one of the videos, he racks the action, and starts to get in position and almost puts his finger on the trigger. he froze and his eyes look like he thought he was fixing to get beat. Anyways, had a good time and he loved it.

These scales started out as 3/8" thick and this handle came out really comfortable, I used some .060 orange g-10 liners on the knife I like the orange on blue, but I really kind of made this one to suit me so go figure.

4 1/4" blade made from 5/32" stock thickness 154cm stainless
handle is stabilized dyed blue California buckeye burl, with orange g-10 liners and 9 1/16" pins and one Mosaic and lanyard tube.

It's not my first choice for EDC as I like a little sharper tip and a tad bit longer but to each there own.

"Makes me feel old." He has been shooting my old 10/22 alot and really likes it. He has been looking for a pre-06, but has had no luck. I got lucky and picked this one up off of the guy who bought it new in 1995. It had seen alot of use over the years.
After being torn down, cleaned, and many hours of polishing, it looks great and shoots like a champ. I think he will be happy.
Thanks to Jeremy "Piston10", he also has a wood stock, if he wants to change it out. I can't wait to watch him pull the trigger on it.

This one has a coal slag blasted finish and that's it.
