After 14 weeks it finally came in!! Looks great - but the snaps over the belt was tough - supposed to be for up to 1 1/2 " my belt is a little smaller than that but I ended up having to slide it through because it wouldn't snap over it. Maybe it will loosen up a little. Worked great - wore it at the TU game (since its not a government school isn't it legal?) I give it a 4 1/2 stars so far! The sharkskin was worth waiting for ! Now one more week for my K & D Holster and 3 weeks for the Orange/Black Gator Holster from Donner!

I have a Don Hume for my G23 and really like it. I had just decided to get a couple of good holsters for every gun I have that way I won't be tempted to sell any more guns!!

My 2 favorites are the VM2 for IWB and the Alessi CQC/S for the belt. The Alessi actually conceals better (on my body) than the VM2. Plus, I've gained so much weight over the past year, that I don't have any pants that let me comfortably carry IWB anymore; so I use the Alessi more than the VM2.

Are you sure you are using the "one way" snaps correctly?

I am going to sound very stupid here - What are one way snaps?

Very, very nice holster!!! I really like that burgandy with black trim. I noticed the bottom is sewn up. Did you request them to sew up the bottom, or is it just made that way?
The bottom of my 239 is open. I've seen them for the xd's with the bottom sewn up. I didn't know if that was a special request, or what??

The snaps on the holster only close one way,you can't snap them stright down.
Assuming the holster is in the position you would actually wear it,the bottom edge of the snaps must start first, then you push the top.
A lot of people don't know this and can't keep them snapped.

It just came that way - I heard someone else talking about that a couple of months ago on GlockTalk - so I wondered how mine was going to come out.
