A buddy of mine caught this bass in a large farm pond with a plastic worm. He was just about to give up and row the boat back to bank when he saw a stump he hadn't cast by ,so he tried it and 5 minutes later pulled it in. It weighted in at 10 lbs 4 oz. and released it after it was weighted.(he has a couple of huge ones in his freezer already)

BTW , Nice forum. :thumb:

That is an amazing fish!

Where generally was it caught?
You don't have to give specific directions. ;)

Wow that was a ways back. Wish the pic was still up so I could get a peak at it. My Dad got back into fishing this year after about a 15yr hiatus and we have been chasing the big boys all over the place. Have put some nice ones in the boat but nothing even close to a 10lb hawg.
