Just wondering what everyones' opinion is on the Ruger 22/45. A guy that I know has one that he said he would let go of for $75 (I think is what he said).

$75.00? Are you kidding? Is HE kidding? If you don't buy it, let me know where it is, and I will! The polymer frame variants don't seem to be as durable as the steel ones, but the steel ones last forever. I documented the first 100,000 rounds I put through mine, then I shot it a couple more years, then I sold it to a buddy of mine in 1993, and he's still shooting it. Hard for me to imagine it could possible be worth less than that

I think you should get it!!!!!
Yes,for $75 you should buy it now.
I'd buy one any day at that price if it wasn't Junked.

Thanks guys and Shauna :) I will more than likely talk to the guy tomorrow night and make sure I heard the correct price and if I did, I will tell him that I want it as soon as I get paid :)

Yeah, I only got to hit it 2 times b/c both times the darn thing toppled over. Ugh, maybe it was b/c the ground was kinda dry.

I misunderstood the guy...just talked to him and he said he doesn't want to sell it. He paid $75 for it...wasn't wanting to sell it :(

I paid $145 for mine at OA in 94', I'd ask that dude if the seller had anymore deals he was willing to part with.

The dude got it from an EX of his I believe is what he said and she never came back for it. I think it was a pawn type deal where he gave her the money and took the gun for colladeral until she could pay him back but she never came back for her gun so he kept it. :)

Every shooter needs a .22 to play around with!! Alot of fun for real cheap!! I bought a Walther P22 several months ago - love it!! Shooting 500 rounds for $8 is great!! If you ever want to borrow it let me know.
