View Full Version : Anyone wanna go shooting?
I am going out to Happy Hollow Wednesday around noon or 1:00pm. I HAVE to go shooting!!! you know, the stress relief thing. Anyway, if any OSAers want to meet out there, load up and come on out. $10.00 range fee for all day. Nice place to shoot, but you can't rapid fire.
Just thought I'd throw this out.

MDT >>> Gosh, Kellyville is quite the drive from Claremore. Why don't you just go to the Wagoner range for free???

The range at Wagoner is not too bad as long as no one else is out there. Both times I/we (myself and SGG) have been, there has been no one out there to bother us. It is a much shorter drive from Claremore and the biggest thing its FREE.

I have been to the Wagoner range, and IF you are the only one there, it is great. However......it seems that when I'm there, there are others that don't have the best muzzle or trigger discipline. Kellyville is a drive, but it is probably the safest range around. Range master calls the line cold every 15 minutes. I just feel alot better about that when I go down range to check my target when I'm shooting with folks I don't know.
BTW, what is Rambo Jane?!?!?
I still plan on being there around 1:00 after I get the kids to school. I drive a black Honda Pilot.

Rambo Jane was the name that her husband (Paken-24-7) gave her last night when we were leaving the range. She bought a Mossberg .22 before we went out there last night and before we left, she was rapid firing at no particular target...hence the Rambo part and Jane because she is a female :)

Where is this range in Wagoner,and how do you get to it.I'm just up the road north of Pryor and free is the kind of word I like to hear. :D I keep a membership at Tulsa Firearms.It is a bit of a hassle(read hot and somewhat snobbish lately) for recreational shooting but convienient when I'm trying out future purchases. :)

It is down Highway 51 (south) by Toppers. Once you go thru the last stop light on 51, it is just a little ways down the road on the right hand side of the road.
