A close look at the rules for posting ads surprised me.

I had thought that prices were required on "for sale" items.

Not so.

What do you think about making this a requirement for posting? (WTT ads obviously would not be affected.) CB

if someone wants to post "make offer" that should be allowed. With that said, the poster shouldn't get offended if an offer is too low. I prefer to see what the poster expects their item to bring. JMO

well, call me crazy but i never get offended when someone offers me to low i just say NO and move on, i expect to sale whatever my item is at fair market value. if i wanted to get hosed on my item i would take it to a pawnshop

whoever makes the offer should know how much it cost.. just dont offer something crappy.. if you think it will offend you, dont offer it to them because it'll probaly offend them :P
