Anyone know anything about the Rohm revolvers? As far as I know it is a German made revolver. My mom gave me a Rohm RG-7 and I can't find any information about them anywhere. She got it from my uncle because he was just going to throw it away. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks

I hava a pocket .22 from Rohm as well. Got it from my Granny who was with my Grandpa stationed in Germany after the big one. I know nothing about the brand, either.

Yes, my mom handed it to me this afternoon. I called Brady earlier and asked him about it, but someone showed up at the house. I am bringing it with me to the range tomorrow for him and Jones to look at.

Will do. I want to learn something about them at least. I saw one on some gun auction site that I came across that sold for $25 (RG7 like the one I have)

That's funny that you all talked earlier and I didn't even know til Brady told me. I was sleeping. I took a nap from 2:30pm-6pm, geez!!! Now I'm not tired like I need to be for the night. Yeah, Brady said someone came by wanting us to buy popcorn.

Rohms were made in Germany in the 60s and 70s and imported by RG Industries. The RG-7 was a .22 blank revolver. I owned a RG-14 .22lr for a while. John Hinkley used a RG-14 to shoot President Reagan. I dont know if RG or Rohn are still in business anymore.

Cool, thanks for the info. So I have "the gun that couldn't bring down the king". Cool. Mine shoots just dandy. I don't know what he hell anyone would do with a 2" .22 revolver, but I got one.

OK, I was searching the "net" for a photo of a pistol I recently acquired. It is very similar to this Rohm, but it says "Made in Germany" with the eagle proof marks. No additional letters on it. It is also stamped on the barrel " Madison Import Corp" It is .22 Short caliber and the grips say Rosco on one side and Vest Pocket on the other this is in the circles where this one say Rohm.
I am sure there is not much Value here, but I am interested in some of the history. Any help would be nice. Age, Manufacturer, Shootability, etc.
Thanks in advance.
