Since we are getting a facelift, and many improvements on the site, I would LOVE to see a live chat board. That would be pretty cool. Maybe have one for different subjects and stuff.

See, that way we could all gang up and rag on J.P.

Would love a live chat feature. There seems to be plenty of members around for this to be viable option.

I'm all for it, just guess we will have to wait and let Kelly get the new site up and going, then he can work on a chat board.

It would be handy for us that stay up all night chatting!

www.gabbly.com has a way to just make a chat box on any given site. might be an alternative to Kelly having to do anything.

The way it looks to me is that it wont keep you signed in though, does not seem to be the answer

I have this java chat client on my webspace you could try out.

http://members.aol.com/chvylvr350/chat.html

I put it up for live chat before the sunset of the AWB for awbansunset.com to use, had like 300 people in there, couldn't read anything the text went by so fast. I changed the channel/room it connects to now. We also had this applet on my gaming clans website. It pulled the member/user name from the phpNuke info. I am fairly sure they have similar integration for vBulletin if Kelly is interested.

The link above defaults your nickname to "JUser." To change it type your desired name in the box in the bottom right(under "change nick to") and press enter. I could send people the files(only 450Kb) modified to default to their desired name.

think of all the people with 5000 plus post damnit!, think of the children! this would ruin their up-incoming post whores results! j/k though a live chat would be pretty neat, www.tulsasportbikeriders.com has one on their forums...no one ever uses it though. but its there incase...
