I heard something on the news the other night about propisition H in San francisco. On November 8th if propisition H passes law abiding citizens won't be able to buy rifles, shotguns or handguns for any reason.Whether it is for self defense, hunting or recreational shooting. If this happens the San franciso people would have to surrender their handguns to police.I never dreamed this kind of thing would ever happen in America. But I never thought the cops would be taking guns away from the people in New Orleans trying to protect their property from looters. :bah:

There was an article in one of the most recent American Rifleman about this proposition. Even the SF police oppose it's passage. It's typical California BS. Sen Diane Fienstein, former mayor of SF and opposes all handgun ownership, has a CCW. Talk about the ultimate hypocrisy.

Is there anybody in San Francisco that you would actually *want* to own a firearm?

I think there are a few decent people in San francisco that should be able to protect themselves from the homos.I have heard that on a percentage, Tulsa has almost as many here as San francisco does.FYI, Academy has a good deal on 9mm ammo.

I was talking about the liberals, let's not offend OSA's homosexual community.

What's the Academy special on 9mm?

That is normally Price for Academy but the rumor is cci is going up. I have no idea if that iis true or not. if you look Here (http://www2.academy.com/MktgContent.nsf/LUDK/Hunting%202005%20Ammo%20Page%201?OpenDocument) you will see academy everyday prices WWB is 4.86 and CCI is 3.86 has been that way for a long time..

Also that is a myth about Tulsa having the as many as SF. We have to many that is for sure. But I bet a guy 20 bucks at work we weren't even in the top ten and I did a goodle and you can find all kinds of docuementation showing the percapita of towns and locals and were not in the top 10 .. Which is not something I Would want to admit if we were.. That is unless you count folks that say "You sure got a perdy mouth" While dueling banjos plays in the background..

The fact that the news article is coming from San Francisco makes me wonder if the thread title shouldn't be "Preparation H in San Francisco".
