I think a knife forum is a cool idea too. I'm wanting one of the Gary Paul Johnston "One ass to risk" CRKT's for EDC, but I can't decide which one I want. I KNOW I want the BIG Tanto style blade with the 1* logo on it, but I can't decide on the LE Blue handle or the OD Green handle.

I love it. It's sharp as hell. It's so pretty, I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to actually use it.

I was issued a benchmade 9050 SBT Auto AFO a few deployments back. Someone decided they needed it more than I did and helped themselves to it.

I got it today!

It's an Extrema Ratio Fulcrum S. I initially wanted the Fulcrum C (compact) but it's not as big as I thought it would be so the compact would have been a little too small.

I picked up a Mini My Tighe last week and used it this weekend. I like it. It feels like it's alot of knife but it goes into the pocket nicely and the high clip mount sets it almost flush with the top of the pocket. I notice it less than my Cold Steel voyager. With the open assist, the thing comes open with a vengeance; almost like an auto.

I noticed alot of interest here in knives and I've got a guy giving me great pricing right now, I can't do 100 different knives for 100 different people, but if there is one specific knife out there that alot of people want, i.e. the CRKT Ultima or another, I'd be willing to check with him and see if he can get said specific knife and we could do a nice group buy on them. Okay, the knife showed up on Saturday at 10:28am. www.gpknives.com is officially the BOMB! That's 2 days from order placed to product recieved.

The knive itself is awesome. It's my new EDC (every day carry) hands down. The BP-1 coating resists scratching like nobody's business. You can tell just by feeling it that the coating is really hard stuff. The blade is 8Cr14MoV, and sharp as all get out (which is to be expected from Benchmade).

For $44.45, it's worth every cent.

The ONLY downside to this knife is that the thumb studs are pretty big, and they seem to catch on my pocket a little when I use the pocket clip. I think maybe the clip will be a little more flexible after I've been carrying it for a while longer.

Okay guys, I really hate to be the bearer of bad news here but......

As much demand as there appears to be, no question, there is probably not going to be a knife forum added anytime in the near future.
Kelly mentioned to me a couple of reasons for this but I'm not going to go into it because personally I didn't quite agree with the reason or decision but... he's the boss.:thumb:
Please do not email or PM insisting on a knife forum.
He and everyone else is well aware of the demamd for it but it ain't happenin' so let's leave it at that.

Now.....
There is no reason to get bent about it, if he doesn't want to add a knife forum, it's his board and he has the ultimate say-so.
If something changes, either he or I will most certainly let you know.

Since this is the "Suggestion Box" section and the issue has been decided (for now) I'm closing this thread.
