So Eric comes to pick Jason and I up to head to the match in Arcadia this morning....
I ask Eric if he has a vest I can borrow.
As we're pulling out of the driveway he says "You don't need concealment....you're shooting an IPSC match today"
DOH!
This was my first IPSC match ever.
I shot horribly but still had a lot of fun.
i haven't seen the scores yet.
IPSC is like IDPA with no rules. ;)
The Oklahoma City Gun Club is a very nice range with a lot of buildings for action pistol shooting and lots of steel.

Although I still prefer IDPA,I'll probably start shooting more IPSC matches now. :)


We had a pretty good group of Tulsa shooters today!

Anyone who has not tried it really needs to give it a shot,you'll be hooked.

You did good today. You guys didn't stay to see me with the carbine. oh man that was funny... I'm an amazing rifle shooter. haha i wish...

I had a blast...JP, you did very well...I was impressed, and here you said you couldn't shoot,..liar!!..It was fun...I am going to try to go back next month for the charity one too...what about you...tams72 ( I just used Jason's name)

No, but I have seen them at nationals, from what I've seen they look pretty cool. Also, Matt Mink is sponsored by CZ.. and he's good, so the gun can't be that bad right? haha

CZ's are very good shooters.
I like them a heck of a lot better than Glocks but the whole 937 tiny moving parts aspect turns me off. ;)
I like something I can rebuild in the field without a vise or bench...that means a Glock or 1911.
