M1A good and bad

in the market for an M1A...maybe the SOCOM 16. Anyone care to share their experiences?

I have had one for a good ten years, wonderful rifle, 10 shot groups when it was new at 100 yds under an inch,maybe I should say when my eyes were better!Never jammed, always worked. Mine is a springfield with a match trigger and sights. Randall
