I went to the Metcalf show today and FINALLY found a Firestorm 22LR for $235. I've been looking for one online for a while, but by the time I paid shipping and transfer, the thing was gonna cost me about $275. The Firestorm is a clone of the Bersa Thunder 380 that I carry except for the fact that it's chambered in 22LR, so I can now practice with the cheaper ammo. The price of the 380 ammo was starting to add up and this is a much better alternative.

cool, I like the way it looks! I have an older Bersa .22 that was bought in Argentina and it feels solid, shoots good too. (got it here from ADDO) here is a link to a page that has pics of one similar to mine, except mine looks brand new! its the third pic down on the right.
are you gonna change the grips like on your .380?

It's always cool to have some kind of matching set with guns. At least it is for me. I find myself buying one gun to complement another. I'm sure it sounds crazy to some.

I would definately like to change the grips to a nice wood set soon. I have one guy that made my pair for the 380, but they're like $68. Which is cheap considering that you can't buy commercialy made wood grips for them. Other grip makers were charging like $125 plus you had to send the frame into them.
For the time being I may just pick up a cheap pine set that a guy made on another forum I frequent. They look pretty good and won't hurt the pocket book so much for now.

I was there from about 1145-1300 today. Didn't see much that I really had to have. Kelly Kyle had some nice stuff on his table....silenced handguns and fully auto stuff. Let us know how the new toy shoots. I would like to get a cheap plinker sometime in the near future...not sure how near though.
