Hey....that's how they classified him.
Everyone has their bad days. ;)

The rules also state that you can't compete more than one division lower than your highest classification.

In other words if you're SSP EX, you can't compete lower than SS in the other four divisions.

So,Michael,if I am unclassified in CDP but I'm Expert SSP....I have to shoot CDP as at least a SS?

I was just messing... So I'm now ssr/ss and esr/ss? even though i don't know how to shoot one? I don't like that rule... haha. well, I'll have jack sign my card saturday.
I have no intentions to sandbag, it wouldn't benefit me. I'll rise to the level of my competition.

Especially you J2. I knew you would make expert soon.

Shoot in the highest class you are allowed.

You will not be proud of trophies that weren't the best you could have earned. I have won my fair share of trophies over the years and they all reside in a box in my attic. Its the greatness you will remember, not the piece of brass and wood and that can't be earned by shooting below your level of ability.

Aspire to be great, not mediocre.

My sarcasm aside J.P., I offer this:

Jigoro Kano, the founder of Judo, was once asked by a student, "What is the secret of judo?"

Kano's response was "Never stop training."

Do so and you will never have to settle for mediocre.
