The Praesidium Group will be offering its basic pistol course called Tactical Speed Shooting on August 13-14 at the Sand Springs PD range.
For a course outline of what you will learn please visit our website at www.thepraesidiumgroup.com
The class is open to all law-abiding citizens. While the techniques you will learn are applicable to competition shooting, the focus of courses is armed self-defense and disengagement. All of the instructors are CLEET-certified and active police officers.
The course is normally $350 but we will be offering a one-time special to registered Oklahoma Shooters members of $300. For law enforcement and active duty military pricing, please email me at mike@thepraesidiumgroup.com
I look forward to training with you.

Hi Michael,
I am really looking forward to taking your pistol class, but it will probably be your November dates or even something next spring before I can get to it. Is the class outside? How are the temps in November for it? I'm here in Broken Arrow...
Thanks,
Alan

It will be outside. The temps are reasonable in November but the possibility always exists for it to be bone-chilling. We do shoot rain or shine, hot or cold. The only thing we stop for are dangerous scenarios like lightning or tornados.

I understand. How many people do you usually have signed up for each class? Do you have any more information (I read your website) on what is covered in the class? I may still do the November class depending on the temps, otherwise likely spring...
Thanks,
Alan

We usually limit the class to ten students.
What other information are you looking for that's not on the site?
Let me know.

Hi Michael,
Just information about the format, how the training goes, etc. I've never been to a class like this before, I'm just wondering what to expect - except good learning of course!
From the requirement of 1500 rounds, I expect we'll be doing a whole bunch of shooting!
Thanks,
Alan
FWIW, I couldn't say enough positive things about Mike and the TSS course. The course was excellent, Mike and Brandon are excellent instructors. Alank2 I would encourage you to train with Mike, you will learn alot.
