Would like to know where the best place to go to CCW class in your area.
OKC, Tulsa, Muskogee, Lawton, etc. YOUR neck of the woods.
Thanks,
Eagle

I went to H&H gun range in OKC. I was very happy with them.
I think it was about $60. I went on a Saturday. There was like 3 or 4 hours of class time. Took an hour lunch, came back and they took us out to the range.
I'd recommend them in a second.
I took mine at Tulsa Firearms.
it was $60
i went in there a few months ago to inquire about signing my wife up and they told me the price was $120.
When I asked why it doubled they told me "We offer extra training because we want to be sure that when someone walks out of here with a gun on,they know how to use it"
The price is still $60 or $70 according to their website though.

$120 is alot of money! I don't think that will go over well when you can go most anywhere else for $60. Maybe if they offered "basic" for $60 and "advanced training" for $120?

I took my class in some old crazy guy's kitchen. It was interesting to say the least.

Nah...I'm pretty sure they were trying to play me for a stooge.

Have to 2nd H&H in OKC. The first couple hours were taught by a Lawyer dealing with the legal responsibilities and liabilities of OK SDA. Great addition to the rest of the class.
Cheers!

There is a guy in Perry that has the class every month (I think) . He advertises on packing.org . His website is
http://members.fullnet.net/wisely/CCPInfo.html
I was going to go to his but my wife couldn't get off work .

I've never been there or heard anything about the class good or bad, but I remember seeing a sign at Savage in Yukon talking about the CCW classes there too.

The Firing Pin in Hinton also has classes too. The owner is a member here.
I did mine at H&H many years ago. I recall it being a fine class.

According to the law,a facility cannot charge more than $60.
Tulsa Firearms is charging $70 but the pictures are included.
I wonder where in the hell he came up with $120?
Maybe he thought they were both going to sign up?
No,frankly they just suck,IMO.
Or, they could just suck!

hey JP- how long does it take to get it? the website said 8 hrs but i think that was for the law enforcment class. Is the CCW class that long too?
Yep.Eight hours.
you can take it all in one day or you can take two-4hr days.
It took the full 90 days for my license to arrive but my renewal only took a couple of weeks.
