Went and tried both out today.

The G19 was, as all glocks are, flawless. I was pretty much dead on with it, much more so than with the 21. I was lucky to find half of my rounds with it. I don't get that either. I'm dead accurate with my 1911, but not the 21. That just seems odd to me.

The Firestorm was a different matter. It was the complete opposite of my Bersa Thunder 380. The 380 is reliable as hell, but the firestorm FTE almost every round out of the 100 that I put through it. It was leaving the spent casing completely chambered, which tells me that the CCI Blazers that I was using weren't strong enough to cycle the slide. I'm gonna pick up some Remington Thunderbolts tonight and try them. The Blazers are just normal velocity 40gr, but these Thunderbolts are "high speed". I'd heard that the pistol preferred high velocity ammo, but wanted to try the Blazers first anyway. That sucks though since I've got like 4000rds of Blazer 22lr and now can apparently only use it in my Savage Bolt action 22. They Savage semi auto doesn't work correctly with them either.

So I'm gonna go back out tomorrow and try out the Firestorm with the new ammo and hopefully all will go well. I expect it to with more p

Ok, went back out this morning to test out the different ammo and all was good. :)

The Winchester and Remington both worked very well. The only wierd thing was that with each of them, the very last round wouldn't eject properly. The slide would lock back, but the empty shell would still be sitting there loose in the action. Oh well, it only did that on the last round and doesn't bother me a bit.

The Federal Champion was a different story. It stated that it was high velocity on the box, but didn't work any better than the blazer ammo. Every shot was FTF or FTE. But I won't be buying anymore of it and I just stocked up on the cheap Remington Thunderbolt. I bought out all 31 boxes that walmart had. :)
