I'm afraid I cannot post a recommendation. I generally don't speak ill. I'd sooner not speak. But this wouldn't work very well if we all behaved that way.

DrJekyll and I had a deal back in August. The basic deal was fine and working with DrJekyll was pleasurable enough, but there are still items from that deal that have yet to be delivered. He asked for my mailing address and I provided it. I have reminded him of the deal without rancor or hostility. In fact, it just wasn't that big a deal, I just wanted to remind him so I could "close the books" and get what I had paid for.

So I figured that this forum was created for honest evaluations - good, bad or indifferent.

I can't share a good one at this point.

I paid cash for a Beretta 92F, its hard case and accompanying paperwork.

Jekyll has the cash, the guncase and the paperwork. I have the handgun.

Clearly, trust only goes so far. I won't do any further business with Jekyll and considering his lack of response and cooperation, I can't, with any clear conscious, recommend him to others.

I am happy to hear that others haven't received the same short shrift. I truly hope it stays that way for your sake.

The manual can be downloaded off the internet, and the hard case can be picked up for $10 or so. If you'd like me to refund you the money to cover it, then I will do so.

However, I think I burned up more than $10 in gas driving you from your home to claremore and back to do the banking.

Let me know if you want the refund or not.

Jekyll is the only problem I have encountered. That just wasn't a big deal until he blew me off. This was his final "blow-off".

I did reply and indicated at this point it was unnecessary. I left it at that until I read the public responses. I have made clear to Jekyll that matter is closed unless he wants to keep it open. As far as I'm concerned I quess I can download anything I need from the internet and find a box for $10.

I am not pursuing the issue any further unless my response is requested.
