Due to injuries I have 90% use of my right arm. basically I can reach my hand to the center of my back belt high but cant draw a pistol from behind my back or much behind my hip. I have some iwb holsters but they all fit best centered up on my back. any suggestions? thanks, Randall

For outside waistband or inside?

What kind of gun do you carry?

If you can, appendix carry has a great many virtues and sounds like it might suit you.

I carry a commander length 1911 or a sw 3913. In winter its not much of a problem with heavier clothing I use a owb strongside holster just behind my hip, summertime is a little more difficult. Randall

Can you use an IWB? If so, I would recommend a VM2 from Milt Sparks or an Inside the Waistband style from K & D Holsters.

I use a Milt Sparks HRLTD at 3'oclock right on my right hip. I actuall wear all of my holsters at 3 with my thinner build its the best concealment I can get.

I was going to mention apprendix carry as well but Mike beat me to it. If you can't get a holster that works you may consider a J-frame for appendix carry. I'd rather have a revolver I can draw than a 1911 I can't.

Hope you find something that works.
