When topics get locked, it would be nice if a mod would post before locking it to let us know why it was locked. If that isn't possible, perhaps the locking mod could send a note to the poster to tell him/her why it was locked.

I had a thread locked and I don't know why. I don't want to break whatever rule it was again. I messaged Mack45 and JP to see why it was closed, but in the future it would be nice if the locking mod would just put a brief note on why it was closed.

Thanks

I'm still trying to find out why my thread with the big jug topless chicks holding AK47's was deleted.

Were their fingers on the triggers?

DrJekyll,
Your thread was closed but it is still there, it was not deleted. When I close a thread I usually do give a resaon either in the thread or via PM. I do not always do this. I do not think this type of "train" stuff is appropriate for this site. I see it as a pyramid scheme, chain letter type of thing and don't like to see that here. As I stated in my PM I didn't close it but I do agree with the Mod who did and will not override his lock.

If it's not a common type thread on a site, then it's just respectful to pm a mod before posting something like that.

I agree with the closing, but only because this isn't a deals site. If you want to get a train going for the Xbox, then try Dealtaker (http://www.dealtaker.com). I belong to that site and they have had several trains running in the past, but it's been a while since I've read the rules over there, so make sure it's ok before posting it there also. That's where I got on the train for the Ipod Mini, and it did deliver after about 8-10 weeks of work (easy work). :)
