It seems like many or most on this board lean toward pistols, as there is only two posts in this revolver section. I was just curious to see if there are any that prefer revolvers.
I really have a soft spot for big-bore snubbies, but alas...I don't even own one right now.
My favorite was My Lew horton 624. I also had a LH629 and LH657 at one time.
A S&W m-19 ,2 1/2" rb was my carry gun for a long time.
I also had a sweet 4" Python (pre-divorce...there were a few others).
Another favorite was my dad's LH L-comp but I never got to inherit that one and prices on them now are unreasonable,IMO.

I really like them but I have drifted away from them because i feel that i am at a tactical disadvantage by using them, except for a snubbie .38 for backup purposes.
Now,folks like Jerry Biggs,Curt Nichols, and Jerry Mculeck (sp) would certainly tell you different. ;)
Those guys are stupid fast with wheelguns!

i love my taurus .357.. i shoot it actually better than my kimber 45. Not to mention the looks you get when you fire off some good ammo at the range. its like running around with open headers on a hotrod. everyone looks
My next revolver will be a 44 mag... thats an experience everyone should have at least once!

I shot a friend S&W .44Mag recently. Now I want one, but the S&W's are like $700-$800. To much for something that won't be fired that often.

they are kinda expensive to shoot too.. unless you do your own loads... still pretty dang expensive.
I still love the feel of the hand cannon though.. kinda feel like your in a video game aka "doom" lol.

I love my 66, call me crazy but I don't feel undergunned with 6 .357's. But I also want
to get a 3" 7 shot 686 or a 3.5" 8 shot 627. Autos are cool too I would love a Sig P226
in .357sig. Just my opinion.

I like 'em. My carry piece around the land will be a .44 or .45 Colt when we move out to the country. I waffle between a sweet 629 or a single action with some fancy grips in a rediculously lavish holster.

I like big bore handguns as well. The setup I would like to hunt with would be .45 colt from Ruger. I would hand load it a little more stout than factory fodder. Of course it would be complimented by a lever action from marlin maybe winchester in same caliber.

I'm a diehard 1911 fan but my carry gun is a S&W "J" frame (Model 340, .357)

I love my stainless steel Ruger GP-100.
Some people keep a gun near them at night when they sleep . . . I keep two. The Ruger, and a Glock 19 are always within easy reach while I am sleeping.

I usually carry a 3" M 24-3 around the ranch, my "go to town" piece is a 2½" Diamondback.
A revolver in chambered in 44 Special (like the M24) is pretty much a hand loading proposition unless you want to order ammunition from one of the smaller performance oriented manufacturers. On the other hand, it's arguable that the situation with this cartridge has always been this way. And after all, loading just what you want isn't such a bad thing ;)
I'm more a shooter than a collector, but old, usually pre-war, Colt and S&W revolvers have been following me home for years. The workmanship on these pieces is first class, equalled in today's production guns only in high dollar guns like the SIG P210, or pistols from the smaller shops like Wilson etc.
There's a lot to like about many automatics, I have a number of them. Were I young, I might well have chosen an auto for self defense. But I don't believe that I'm poorly armed with a revolver.

I have a Redhawk .44 mag for when I feel the need to bust rocks.I have had SW 44 mags but never could tolerate the recoil from full power loads and never had one shoot worth a hoot with reduced loads. I have tried 454 Casulls but they are just too much for me. My Favorite revolver is a SW 625 .45 auto, super accurate and fun.

I have a Blackhawk in .41 mag. I used to shoot it way more than I do lately. Put a bullseye spring kit in it, and polished the action. Made for a sweet shooting revolver. I tend to use my .45 auto, and 9mm more now. Guess I'm getting older and don't like the recoil. I usually shoot a couple of cylinders full and then put it away when I go to the range.

I've got autopistols for defense, but LOVE my 'Boomers' all S&W N-frame's .41 & .44 Magnums. Just bought a 1985 vintage Lew Horton 3" M29 straight out of "From Dusk 'til Dawn" to balance my Taurus 3" Model 44. They are indeed a bit expensive to shoot, but well worth the cost, because nothing is as satisfying as the long range precision & blast that they give you. Had a S&W .500, but gave it to my Father-in-law for his birthday. And just in case anyone is wondering, yes I do watch "Dirty Harry" with my mint 6.5" M29 lying on my belly.

I have a 6"SS Ruger GP100 357 that I traded my XD40 for. (Liked my Glock 22 40 better). I was really surprised how very accurate this pistol is, recoil is mild. Built like a tank.

I've got a S&W 629 Classic 5". I wanted it because I wanted a .44 Mag wheelgun and because it's one of those guns that just says, "Even if I run out of ammo I'm going to beat you to death with this huge hunk of metal".:D

I like revolvers also. My number one thing with guns is reliability; and as you know, revolvers are excellent in this respect.

I recently picked up a Ruger SP101 that I really like. Never been much of a revolver fan but this had started turning me a bit!

I like revolvers, keep three of them around for fun, to big for cc so use semi-autos for that.
