Just curious if there are others here that love Thompsons as much as I do. :)

I dig it, but I don't have one. My bolt action is a 91/30.

I've got one on order that should be fun to shoot. It's a 14" 300 Win Mag barrel with JP Brake. Should be here any time. My Frame and barrel are silver, and the scope will be silver too.

Here's what it'll look like:

Should have a nice healthy kick and some muzzle blast with it. I figure I'll have to double plug due to the noise factor.

I have an Encore, does that count?

I also have a NEF Handi rifle in .243

Started playing with them a few years ago and got addicted. So far I have,
14 inch 223
14 inch 444
10 inch 41
10 inch 22mag
10 inch 410/45
I've also played with 44mag, 357mag, 30-30AI and 7tcu
recently got into Strikers and have a 22LR and a 308 that I'm quite impressed with.

I am definitely a Thompson fan. It's the funnest gun I have to shoot, and having different barrels & sights, you just mix and match what you want. Wanna shoot the .260 with the holographic sight? Slap it on, pop in the laser bore sighter and adjust, and in a few minutes you're within a couple inches at 100yards of dead center on the first shot. Woot!

Another T/C fan here! My hunting rifle is a SS .308 Encore with a Leupold VX-II mil-dot. I interchange this with a SS .50 cal block powder barrel topped with a Leupold as well.

I also have a T/C Classic Benchmark .22 with a Nikon 4 power rimfire scope. I love all of these rifles. The .22 is an absolute JOY to shoot and amazingly accurate.

I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't post things like this anymore.

My gun fund is already in the red.

Hehe... I have that exact setup now. When I took the picture below, I had the holographic sight on the barrel instead. I ordered a new silver Burris 3-12X for it yesterday.

Yeah, it is definitely an addiction. Aren't they all! haha. My .223 is fairly accurate but it's a factory barrel. I bought it to get me started when I bought my first frame. I'm going to replace it with a custom barrel from BullBerry in a couple months. I also want a 17 and a 22LR barrel eventually, and a second frame. :)

Yep, already registered there. Been a member of that message board for awhile now. Another good one for Thompsons is HERE (http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=24&sid=a975160d28ae68a16441a136edaa5501) and HERE. (http://www.bellmtcs.com/forum/index.php)

That second one is Bellm TC's where I order a lot of parts for my gun like when I did my trigger job, etc.

I've never cared much for some of the attitude on Greybeard's board. I keep an eye on Bellm's board, mainly for David White's info. He's the one who made my 44 into my 444. Excellent work, and I got the barrel back about a week after I shipped it.

Yeah, Bellm and Graybeard don't get along at all. But, if you cut through the BS, they're both pretty good boards. I thought about opening a dedicated Thompson section here if there were enough people interested. Ones for Contenders, Encores, pistol and rifle configurations.

I have a Thompson Center Contender .44 Mag with Scope that is fun to shoot and I reload my Ammo for it. I like them.
