I got bored tonight and decided to gold plate my Raven 25. I'm not a big fan of gold crap, but I wanted to see if it would plate zinc or not. It may be tacky, but the finish is alot more shiny than before. I just made a quick run over it and didn't remove the slide. I'll have to go back and touch it up later. :)

Whoa! You mean that it might now be worth almost $100? :wink2:

All I know is that I've probably now got the most sought after Saturday Night Special on the north side. ;)

Now you need an 80s model Cutlass with gold wire wheels.

I wouldn't go flashing the ride or the gat around or some fool may jack you. :wink2:

I see many unsuccessful attempts to speak in ghetto slang. If you are wondering, I couldn't do it either. :censored:

I guess you can take the boy out of the country, but you can't put the ghetto in the country boy.

You might even get 120 if you take it to the flea market!

How do you dissasemble that? My Sister-In-Law's husband has one. He asked me to try to disassemble it and after messing with it a few minutes I really was not sure how. Has to be something with that part on the back of the slide I figured...

You get a something and depress that silver area around the firing pin. Then the slide will come right off. Sometimes you have to fiddle with it a bit, but it usually pops off just fine.

Be very careful to keep you hand over the rear of the pistol when disassembling it. That little silver cap in the rear will go flying along with the spring.

Sister-In-Law's husband

I just now read this again.

Wouldn't that make him your brother?
