I remember a guy called "Marshal" at the gunshow a while back that had a school called Tulsa Self Defense or something like that.
He had a video that was impressive.
Has anybody taken classes there?
Thanx

I believe that Michael Brown and Marshal teach together. There should be a few people who have taken a class.

I've taken Marshall's AP Lev.1 twice. It helped me by leaps and bounds. I also sent my 16 year old daughter through his Ladies Only class. His courses are well worth the money.

I have taken two classes with marshall and one with mike. i could sit here and type for hours about how much i learned at both classes. something i can say is when i left marshalls class i knew how to shoot, when i left mikes class i learned alot more about WHEN to shoot and that all the things i thought i would do if attacked by one or two armed bad guys went out the window.mikes class really opened my eyes about carrying a gun and what i can do with it, and what i cant do with it. anyway my advice is take as much training as you can because like mike says "your never good enough to win a gun fight".

Is Marshall going to close his school? I notice that he is listed as a staff instructor for that new school out by the police academy.

I've heard that several local instructors were moving over to the new USSA range,so who knows? Anything's possible I suppose.

Marshall is still training, courses scheduled are on his website. I have taken four of Marshall's classes. Also have military (SF) and L.E. training. He is one of the very best and his prices and money back guarentee are unbeatable.

Many rumors going around about USSA so I won't repeat them. Only thing I have heard for sure they are working through some permit snags.

I don't forsee Marshall and his group not continuing to teach and train regardless of what happens in the future. What I do see is demand for him and his instructors increasing exponentially and courses being harder to get into or fewer in number because military units and law enforcement agencies will be using him.

But don't take my word for it, take his API class and find out for yourself. The cost is a fraction of what any other school (frontsite, thunder ranch, black watter) would cost you.
