If i go to an IDPA match,can I share equipment with my friend?

Yes, under specific safe conditions. Ask the Match Director when you arrive. Generally you'll be sent to the safety handling area (s) to swap the gun, holster, and mag pouches. Remember you MAY NOT handle loaded magazines or live ammo in safety handling areas AT ANY TIME, but may handle them anywhere else. Let each stage safety officer know you'll be sharing equipment, so he can put a couple shooters between you and your buddy to allow for the gear swap.
