NOOB ? about transporting

Hello everyone! I have just recently purchased myself a Christmas present. I got a Glock23. I am going to be going out of town later tonight and want to take my pistol because I am going to the country where I can shoot it. I do not have a concealed carry liscense yet. Can you please tell me the correct way to transport my gun in a vehicle.

Put it in its case unloaded. Probable be smart to leave the magazines unloaded too.

Do I leave the case out in the open and put the magazines in a different place?

i store my items for trasport seperate from the ammo and locked up. guns in one locked container, ammo in another locked container. shooting stuff in another locked container. im just paranoid i guess...........

Transport it like you did when you brought it home from the store.In it's case,on the front or back seat in plain sight.Put your ammo in a separate sac or container. :)
