In the latest Guns & Weapons for LE magazine, they have one of these mounted on a 6.8spc AR they tested. They claimed it was a good product.

Anybody tried one of these. I'm still not sold on it.

Ive seen a couple. They are hell for stout, but they are huge. They are an easy 50% larger than any other VFG on the market. Way too bulky for me.

One of the gear whores on my team had one during our last FTX.....it might be fine for urban stuff, but in the woods it sucks. He spent most of his time untangling it from the briars and moving stuff out of the way to get a stable shooting position while prone.

If you don't convert to a free-floating forend assembly you can also end up torquing your barrel nut off.
