Not sure if anybody will be going, but you can bring a gun and the coupon to get in for $5 on Saturday or Sunday will be 2 for the price of 1.

I went to the Hall of Fame show today. It was pretty good, however I bought some "remanufactured" 357 Sig ammo. I then went to H&H and had a 50% failure to feed rate with them. You'd think if you're going to sell your own reloads, you would at least make sure they'd chamber properly :censored:

Thanks for the coupon DrBaker. I'll have some money next weekend, hope there are some good deals.

Isn't the Hall of Fame show usually bigger than Claude Hall's? The last couple times I went to CH's, it was a big waste of dough.

The Hall of Fame show was in the TNT building and was pretty good size. There was quite a selection of weapons. Some good deals, some not so good. The laugh of the day for me was a Glock 37 with 1 Klinton mag and a box of ammo - $650!

I'm looking for a stripped or partially stripped A3 upper and some A2 handguards. Did you happen to notice anybody with good deals on their AR parts?

There were quite a few dealers with AR parts, however I didn't do any price shopping, sorry. I did see a couple of dealers with stripped lowers at decent prices.

Might be worth the $10 to go check it out today.

Just got back. I got my handguard, but still need the stripped upper.

I'd agree that it was a little better show than usual.

Nice show but what is it with the outrageous entrance fees. All of the gun shows I attended in San Antonio before moving up to OKC and the ones before I moved down there all were $5. $10 to get in makes me want to avoid them

Most offer a military discount. I've seen them allowing dogtags as proof of service. I got in yesterday for $5 with my ID.

I almost didn't go because of the high entry fee. Next week will be half price, but it's a smaller show.

It's hard to justify the entry fee, but since I skipped the last several shows I decided to give it a shot.

I'll need to borrow your dogtags for the next one. Us poor folks need all the help we can get.

:grumble: Would have been nice to know about the discount for military ID. They need to post a few signs to help people out. Although I guess they figure if we don't know they will just quietly take our money.

My G37 deal will be much sweeter than that one. Stay tuned...

Against my better judgement I went with a friend on Saturday. Just reinforced my earlier opinion that its a waste of time to go to a Claude Hall gunshow in OKC. Probably only 2 large gun vendors. A couple of small ones, and more flea market junk than I've seen lately!
