I'd join in if I could, but have prior plans for this morning.
I'll be out there on Sunday.

I went out there on friday to find out that the ranges were closed until 4pm. It was about 1:30, so I didn't get to shoot. They are expanding, so they are going to be twice as big, its going to be cool!

I noticed the business to the West was empty. Did they say what the plan was? More lanes or maybe making deeper lanes?

No new lanes. That whole area is going to be showroom space and a new conference room. They are building a snack bar over there. I was told that most of the rifle cases, etc will be going to the new side. The gunsmith area is going to be huge. They hope to have it completed by next weekend is what I was told.
I'm hoping they have another big sale for the new grand opening!

Miles said they were adding a "cafe" when I was in there on saturday morning. Larger classroom that they can divide in two and spread the display cases out abit. are shooting for next week sometime. Should be nice as long as they don't up membership fees to pay for it.

Haha, thats exactly what I was talking about with my dad! I bet memberships go up next year because of this. I just paid in sept, so I have awhile.
Even if they do raise the prices, they are still way, way cheaper than any other place I've ever seen!
$100 per year with 2-4 free targets, unlimited visits, is hard to beat! :gun1:

I just renewed 2 weeks ago. $100 for me, the Mrs, and the youngster. We get up to 4 targets each everytime we go.

If I thought I was going to be able to shoot up there enough to justify joining, I would. But being 35 miles away kind of hampers anything.
Would love to join you, but alas, I have to make the doughnuts. I have seen their work in progress and they will be cutting it close to be done by this weekend.

Yea, I thought the same thing when he said that they planned on being open by this next weekend! They've got alot to do if they are going to make it!

Was pretty packed Sat night.
Went in to buy my first handgun (or gun for that matter) and wanted to try out the Glock and the XD.
Loved the way the XD 40 felt in my hand..
Got myself a XD-40 3" Bi-tone :)

I shot there AR-15 there last week I broke it down I have never seen weapon that dirty before it was discusting I'm suprised it fired my hands were black.
I asked one of the guys some months back, how often do they clean their rental guns. His response was whenever they don't shoot.
I just say this because a friend of mine rented a 1911 there and the gun had multiple FTFs. The slide would not go completely into battery about half of the time. A quick hit of the slide would drive it home.
I think the most they do is spray them down with some gun scrubber.

I dont' think they ever do that that would make even more off a mess they would have to clean up
when you send the bolt carryer home in the AR you can hear the grit inside
