Let me know when you're going. Nothing better than assassinating paper people.

I go to H&H all the time. I finished my OSDA/CCW class there not too long ago. (Me and the wife) :) Too bad I missed this event but I'm sure I'll catch you guys there soon enough.

I try to shoot there several times per month. Several others on this board do as well. I'm sure many of us have seen each other and didn't even know it.

I can believe it. Its not like shooters are exactly at the range for the great "social" time we spend talking to each other. Hell most ppl dont even look at each other... let alone chat.
Guess we are all just "in the zone". :wink2:

I shoot there 2-3 times amonth when time allows. Admittingly, I almost always aviod the guys that come in with 3-4 assualt rifles and dont know what hearing protection is ( I know you have seen the type there). Besides Im always on the rifle side shooting cards or setting some groups with my varmint rifles. About the only person I chat with is Will.. usually after I set a nice grouping I'll take a break and have a soda while hes having a smoke. Very knowledgable and friendly compared to other gun folk (snobs) out there. My knowledge base is very diverse, ranging from handguns to rifles in wildcat cartridges ..OK..its usually the 22-250 Ackley Improved. He seems very knowledgable about just about any arena......kinda interesting to talk with people like that.

Lets get together soon and throw some down range.

Will is a funny guy. Not sure he means to be, but regardless, I have received good advice from him on a few occassions.
Will is a good instructor too. I've taken a few of his pistol classes and he has a patient, unassuming style. His basic philosophy is "This works for me and others, try it this way a few times and if you don't like it you can go back to your style, no problem".

Yeah Will is a good guy. I really need to take a few of those advanced pistol courses they offer. I was wondering how good they were. I also need to broaden my knowledge of firearms but between the "snobs" and the idiots out there quickdrawing AR-15's (I have seen this I swear..and yes they were promptly removed.).
It's so hard to tell who knows what they are talking about and who is just talking out of their rear.

I can always tell when Will is working, you can hear his laugh anywhere in that store (unless you're in the range of course). I can't help buy laugh when I hear him laughing, its contagious! He is one of my favorite guys there.
The classes are great...nice informal atmosphere with lots of shooting.
The bonus is, if you take a class you can "retread" the same class over and over again for free as long as you help out on the range.

Maybe would could get Tom Hughs to open up a firing pin there. The bowling pin matchs would be huge. :gun2: Hey Tom are you listening? :D

The advanced pistol courses are $65.00 a piece. I think all the others are pretty much the same price and you provide the class materials . I really need to get off my butt and take of those though...
