I think NikatKimber and I are planning on going shooting Saturday morning, beginning around 9 and shooting until late lunch, and then going and grabbing something to eat. If anyone wants to, they are free to join, as it'd be nice to meet some people from here. Anyways, just thought Id open the invitation.

I'd join you guys, but I have to work. I'm thinking H&H is going to be done this weekend too, so you guys might get to see the new store!

I'm gonna try to make it up there. Shouldn't be an issue as long as I don't have a really late Friday night:)

The shooting was great... but the action was far better!
SigArmed, my little brother and I showed up right after 9am this morning, and shot for 20 min or so before AresV showed up. He made a BANG of a first impression!! We were in the rifle range, and he came in and introduced himself, then went to set his gun bags down on the shelf deally thingy.... BAD choice!! He got the bags down, but the shelf is not, i repeat NOT, attached to the floor. I was in the next lane shooting, and hear this KaWhaamm!! behind me. The entire shelf with all the accompanying ammo, bags, guns, cell phones, and brass was on the floor. If nothing else, it made a great ice breaker. All told there were 10 guns there, it was awesome! SigArmed's new 229 SAS was sweet shootin. Buttery smooth trigger. Not to mention accurate. The wood grips didn't relay any recoil, in my opinion the softest shooting gun today, but I didn't shoot his 226 9mm. AresV had a nice 870 shotgun, with a neat recoil absorbing stock on it. That was the first shotgun i've fired, was a great first experience.
It was really cool getting to meet some of the people on here, shoot their guns, show mine off, and just hang.
Oh, and thanks for being encouraging to my bro', before today he had never shot anything bigger than a 22, and I was really impressed with y'alls kindness to him, and letting him shoot your iron.
Look forward to seeing others in the future!

Enjoyed the shooting today, it was a blast. I owe Kenny a free Duracoat job on his slide (luckily it was the only gun casualty when the shelf went down).

All I can say is that anyone who has never shot a Les Baer and thinks they're overcharging for them needs to shoot one. I'll admit, I was a skeptic. Let me tell you though, it was the most incredible 1911 I've ever shot. Extremely accurate and as smooth as silk. I won't lie, I want one. It won't be my next purchase, but I will get one in the next few years.

The 229 SAS was also a blast to shoot. That DAK trigger is something else!
