Take this class! I just returned from CP2 in Austin and it was a great experience. It was my second formal training course and I learned a great deal. Tom and his assistant John gave each student much personal attention over the 2 days. I'll post a more detailed review later, but you would be foolish if you had the opportunity to take this course and missed it.

Anyone who is serious about carrying and defending themselves with a gun NEEDS to take courses like this.

On their website they state that to take Combat Pistol II that you must have taken CP1 is this True? If not I will be taking this class in January.

You need to have completed CP1 or any other equivalent level one defensive handgun course. If you've taken a course that is equivalent to CP1 from another reputable school then check with Tom to see if it will fulfill his requirement.

You can enroll in CP2 if you have an equivalent to CP1, such as Defensive Handgun 1 at Thunder Ranch, 250 at Gunsite, or Fighting Pistol with Tactical Response. If in doubt, drop me an e-mail.

I'm almost 100% I should be able to make this one. Will be working full time so I should have the cash flow plus no more exams to worry about. Hopefully I won't have a big presentation the following week. Penciling it in. I really enjoyed CPI as did the people I recommended it who attended this years class.
