Those PTRs are excellent made receivers. I was very impressed with the one that I saw at a local store.

Mack,I don't mind tellin' you that is the ugliest POS I've ever seen.
For $100,I'll get rid of it for you so you don't have to walk around in shame with it.

The Ptr-91 is made by J.L.D. Enterprises in Farmington, CT. They make several models. This one is a PTR-91 F, I had to have the flash hider. Yes it is heavy, the book says 9.17 lbs. empty. But its a battle rifle not an assault rifle, If that really means anything. I think that it is a bit heavier than my M-14 S/A. The guys at the Firing Line ordered it for me from Sarco.
MDT, yes we need to have a PTR day, Do you have the weekends off?
