Does anyone think Oklahoma will impose an Antler Law Similar to Pennsylvania?

I hope not. Where I hunt the deer are too few and far between to have to be too picky on antler length.

I don't think so. they are talking about making ML season 16 days next year.
It would not really bother me. I will take a big doe if I see one.

I hope they do get the black powder season extended, the SE Okla. deer are not as spooked then. Although SE Okla is the only place I have hear a semi auto black powder, with night sights.

The long black powder season will work great for us guardsmen too. Hope it works out. I actually like the challenge of one shot versus a magazine full. It makes hunting more of a hunt than a kill. Also, ranges are closer. I have not taken a 150 yard shot except an off handed doe in four years, maybe five. Every shot I remember has been 75 and in.

Just read that the long season and bag limit changes that were proposed, have been voted down due to public concerns.

That is true. i know some ol' boys that own one of them muzzleloaders. i gots no problem with the night hunting long as your using the meat and need it. I personaly dont do it. Although i have been caught scouting my pastures in the middle of the night. thankfully the warden understands dead coyotes and possums.
