SigArmed and I were talking today, and came up with the idea of a bunch (10+) of us going to H&H and renting all 6 lanes of rifle for a few hours. What's y'alls thoughts? Thinking also of doing lunch afterwards, buying chicken and such and hitting a local park (if there is one).
How many for:
9am to lunch
lunch first till whenever
If it works, we might could do it every couple months.
NOTE: H&H does NOT take reservations, so it would be hard to get a lot of lanes side by side in the afternoon on a Saturday.

Sounds fun. We've done this before, but the most we've ever had has been maybe 4 of us, except we didn't go eat.
Count me in.
H&H now serves sandwiches and stuff now, so we could even eat there. There aren't very many tables though. I don't know if they are getting more or not, since they are still working on the store.

I like the morning. That way, if I have to work (usually 1:30pm on sat.), I could go and still make it to work without having to have the whole day off.

Sounds like fun I'd be in for sure as long as I don't have to work. I've been one
time before with OKS members and had, well a blast.

Well, it depends on your definition of work. You would have to load your own mags, put the target on the clips, push the button to push the target out, hold the gun up, and pull the trigger. Man, I'm getting tired just thinking about it. :) Now thats my kind of work. :) :thumb:

Sounds good to me. I have to work that day, but I could go in at 1:30, so I'd have to be there early in the morning for me to be able to go.

I would be up for it. 18th sounds good, morning would probably be eaiser to get lanes. I'll check for a park nearby...
I don't think I've introduced myself here, my name is John, I am, no surprise a Lieutenant in the Navy stationed here.

I looked at OKC parks and it doesn't look like there is one close, we could do lunch at the IHOP or Cracker Barrel just south of I-40 at Meridian - probably get more for lunch than at H & H for the money.
Thanks for the Welcom to the group!

I didn't believe you on that one so I used Google Earth to look up parks in OKC, and you are 100% correct. There isn't a park with in 4-5 miles of H&H. If you have Google Earth (and if you don't shame on you :) ) look up parks in OKC. It's kind of funny. The city is pretty much covered with them except that area.
I'm in for the shoot. So 9am, 2-18, @ H&H, correct?

If folks are planning to go eat afterwards, I'd recommend Earl's. It's about the closest place to the range and the cheddar burger is dyn-o-mite.
