I didn't know there were any shotgun matches around here. I love shooting the old 12ga.
When and were do these occur?
What are the most popular shotguns for these events?

benelli's are the popular ones.......of coarse some use 1100's and win's. that is if you are shooting in tactical or open classes.....if you are shooting in he-man class you have to shoot pump...

I've been thinking about a Moss590 w/ghost sights or a FN tactical police. The 590 is in the lead to due to price. Are either of those decent in a shotgun match?

in he-man class, i shoot a mossberg 590 with GRS. .....9-shot.........a little bit of smithing to it.
in tactical or limited class......i use a modified benelli....

Rude? You have a better chance of being stranded on an island with nothing but the Dahm Triplets and a beer truck than offending me.

Yes Guys there is one in Minus, Tx on Oct. 22nd at the Tac Pro Facility. they have 580 acres. a 1000 yd Range this place Rocks if any one in intrested here is thier site http://www.tacproshootingcenter.com/ It cost like 65 or 85 to shoot the match but everyone will make thier money back on the give aways and door prize they have ... I went for the 1st time back in May and i will be going every time they have the evernt which is twice a year... the staff is great and will answer any emails in record speed ... so sign up early last time there was 80 shoots and we started at 9am and was finshed around 6:30 pm then they have the ending awards, give away...
