Tulsa is goin south and the great mayor of Tulsa is spouting all the positive his has done for Tulsa. (Vision 2025, Vision 2025, and Vision 2025). I have not seen the murder rate this high. I don't think this bothers LaFortune one bit. I know the criminals know that the TPD is under staff. Larceny goes unreported, and what else that doesn't.
This man we call mayor won't answer a freakin' question when asked. Just dances around them. ALA: Randy Miller. He won't fund the TPD, but this idiot is willing to give American Airlines another 6 million dollars. This mayor has to go, Tulsa can't afford LaFortune.
This is my opinion and mine only. Feel free to share yours.

No,I think you pretty much summed it up for me.

Yup good ol Bill Misfortune. I fully support Chris Medlock. I know lots of other emplyoees I work with at the city that do also. He can win this election. He wasn't supposed to win his concil seat. Then he wasn't supposed to be recall. He did both. I suggest you try and find a place he is speaking go hear him speak and you will be convinced he is what Tulsa needs also.

I'll vote for Medlock and if he loses I might vote for my first Democrat (I'm hoping it will at least be McCorkle)
I have never been so disappointed in anyone I have ever voted for (LaFortune)

Id much rather have more cops, fireman and annex more city property so Tulsa has some place to grow, than a new downtown arena.

At least the FOP was good enough to prove a point by backing Miller. I dont like Miller and definately wouldnt vote for her, but this is the first time ever, I believe, that the FOP didnt back the incument mayor.
It definately shows that theyre pissed off at Lafortune too. :)

Funding a big business and under funding a police dept....Why are Tulsans so surprised with that? Isn't LaFortune a republican?
Gridlock for mayor??? Guess if I was a member of the OKC Chamber of Commerce I would be in Tulsa trying my best to see he is the new mayor.
Tulsa needs some leadership and a council that will work together. Regardless of your party, Tulsa needs to NOT look at the rooster or elephant when you go to the polls this time. If you think Tulsa is divided now, just elect Medlock or someone of like mind.
Use to enjoy going to Tulsa, but not anymore. OKC has left Tulsa so far behind it is not funny. Look at the big picture Tulsa!!!
:gun2:As they might say on PTI, flame away, knuckleheads.:thumb:(said with humor in mind for those of you who may think otherwise)

Since when have Rupublicans not supported police and crime prevention? Data please!!
I would rather have "Gridlock" in the council than a whole bunch of yes men for the downtown and land owners.
Do you even live in Tulsa? It just sounds like Tulsa bashing to me - maybe I'm wrong and if so I apologize. But try with something constructive.

Well I agree its not a republican or democrat thing anymore. Those are just worthless titles.. I look at it as Conservative or Liberal.. I personally want conservatives in office. Fiscally and socially

Well something has to change, Medlock, McCorkle, anybody but LaFortune. The man I wanted to be mayor didn't run. ( Micheal Bates )
When I voted for LaFortune, I didn't know I was getting a Susan Savage remake. The Tulsa World will endorse who ever can make Mr. Lorton the most money.
I don't trust Randi Miller, She believes in the three super councilor concept, in which would take the neighborhood voice out of politics. Taylor would be a Susan Savage clone. I have heard Bridget Harper speak, like Medlock she has some good ideas, and doesn't trust the Good Ol' Boy Network. She is just a to big of a unknown to get traction.

LaFortune is just too damn expensive to keep. Let some other big rich city have him. :)
