Ok so I took my CCW class a while ago and am in the long process of being probed and basically put on hold before my license ships (or is rejected.. ). Anway,
I currently shoot a Glock 22 as my main handgun and I love it (though I have my eye on a few 1911's as well). The problem is I would really like to carry it as my concealed weapon even though it's full sized.
I have tried and tried to get used to firing compacts and they just never "feel" right to me. I like the feel and handling of full size pistols. My question is how do you guys carry full sized concealed? I do have a friend that carries his in a fanny pack but I cant bring my dignity low enough to even consider that option.... :)
I want to go out and not be noticed and I just feel a fanny pack or a "shoot me first" vest is just is too tell-tale and not quite fashionable defeating the purpose of me not wanting to stand out as having a gun but yet feel comfortable and have my gun close at hand.
I've seen thunderwear but I think that might be a little awkward to pull out in a time of crisis and I'd be more likely to hurt my self than an attacker.. :)
Anyway, throw out some ideas, thoughts on your carrying style and ..etc..etc... I just need some more food for thought.
