So I went to the 81st and Lewis (the only store that I know of in Tulsa carrying .22LR Win Dynapoint) and they said that it has been deleted from the inventory. When I asked what that meant - the guy just said that they're not going to carry it anymore. He said that no Wal-Mart will.

Does anyone know of another place in Tulsa that sells .22LR Dynapoints? Wally World seems to still carry the .22mags, but not the LRs.

This was my ammo of choice for my G23/AA conversion Kit and now I'm stuck with CCI Mini-Mags. The Rem Golden Bullets seem to gunk up the mags. My kit came with a paper saying not to use Federal ammo, so I'm kind of running out of bulk options now.

I found a box at the K-Mart on 51st and Harvard a week or so back. It was 14.99 a box though. Only place in town I could locate it. It was my first box and I can't say I was impressed.

Here's more bad news - I just check Winchester's site and there is no mention of dynapoint ammo in .22LR. They still show mags, but nothing but lead-nose for .22lr.

Checked both K-Marts in Tulsa and nothing at either. The 51st store looked like a graveyard and the 21st store was pretty picked over as well.

The guy at the 51st store told me that they were'nt ordering any new ammo or guns since they stopped carrying firearms. I couldn't find anyone to help me at the 21st store after having the electronics folks page someone twice, I gave up.

Looks like its time to start checking out what other ammo works with the AA conversion kit for the glock.

Damn Midway is also out and not gonna order... Freakin Winchester :censored: Always screwing up a good thing.

Hey Martha go by Sports Authority and pick up a brick of CCI Blazers. They work good in most of my .22's.

Man I thought you lived in Dallas? Maybe that was Rick.

I didn't know CCI made Blazers in .22. I'll have to go check that out.

If you go to the gun show you can usually get them for about 8 bucks a brick. They are 11.99 a brick at SA (or they were the last time I was in there). I usually pick up a bunch from the Big Gun Shows in Tulsa. Lott at MidwayUSA's site to see the boxes they are in. Gray and Black.

Stopped by Sports Authority - picked up two bricks of Blazer in .22lr. Sports Authority said that they were not going to sell ammo any longer after next Tuesday (I think) so if you need CCI Blazer .22lr, get it now at Sports Authority.

I did notice that they sold Win SuperX (not the plain X-pert) in the smaller boxes and I asked to see them - and they are copper-jacketed holow-points (suspiciously like Dynapoints). I think Wal-Mart sells super-X's as well, so I might have to try them. I always thought those smaller boxes of Win .22lr ammo with the red X's on them were just smaller boxes of X-pert lead-point.

The plant where Dynapoints are produced is in Mississippi and was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Whenever Olin gets the plant repaired or production moved to another facility, Dynapoints will again be available.
