Where is the cheapest place to buy 357Sig ammo locally. I was buying Speer Lawman for $9.something a box at Outdoor America. They have been out for quite awhile now. I may have to order some bulk online, but I would rather buy locally if I can find some.

I travel through Tulsa once in a while, so I would like to hear from you guys also.

Your best bet is going to be online. www.ammoman.com or www.georgia-arms.com
Or reloading.
I think I am about to start myself. a guy on GT said he could make 2000rds of 357sig for 47.00$.
47 dollars!!!

I haven't seen any cheaper than $13/50rd in Tulsa.
Doesn't mean it ain't out there but I haven't seen it.

I paid $14.50 for Winchester (WB 125gr JHP) at Sportsmans. I'm thinking relaoding is the way to go also.

My father reloads it and said he can crank out 50 rounds for around $6 (his cost) or so with good quality powder and good 115 gr. JHP's.

Check Ebay for brass. There are some good deals to be had there.

Well, I guess I should have bought all that Lawman up!!! It's time to buy a reloader. Anyone use the Hornady Lock-N-Load?

Has anyone shot any of the Remington 125gr.?

Nope, been meaning to try it out though. All I have shot is speer gold dots in 125gr, some Maine Cartridge Company, Georgia Arms canned heat, and Sellier and Bellot stuff, which I have had hit or miss luck with. One batch is trouble free, the next, every 4 or 5 rounds yeilds a FTFire. I donot use that brand anymore, and The FTFire rounds, I would wait , then eject, then simply threw them away.
Some of them seemed to setback on the first chambering. I would stay away from S&B ammo.

I have also heard great things about lancer ammo.

The main problem with S&B is the primer. It is damn near as hard as a military primer.

yes, s and b have hard hard hard primers, p239 ate them like nothing at all, but glocks strike em to light i guess, the s and b sets back even on the first chambering, i will never buy it again, regardless of price......

Outdoor America has more Speer Lawman. It is now $12.something a box. The salesman said Speer is raising prices on all ammo. The 50rd. box of 357Sig Speer Gold Dots also went up. They used to be $16.something and now they are over $20; I can't remember the exact amount. I guess I spend too much time looking at too much stuff at gun stores.

I can't wait for the report. I have shot some Remington in 9mm and .40. It was OK except it had a big muzzle flash. Very big muzzle flash.

GMThunder, have you tried the Remington yet? I need to load up and I might make the trip to Tulsa if it is any good.

Sorry.... forgot to post. It shoots nice and relatively clean, had no problems. For the money I think it's the best you can get locally. It's not as hot as GeorgiaArms reloads but who cares? It's range ammo.

Not as bad as GA once again.... if you want reduced muzzle flash then try some Double Tap. I still need to try out some Speer stuff that I have aswell.
