Say Hi to everyone for me at Duncan. I'll be at the Handgun instructors class in Shawnee instead. For those of you going, last month was going to be the first time for an additional weapon stage. It was going to be a shotgun stage. Last months match was cancelled due to weather though. Since I wont be there this month, I didnt bother checking if it was going to be brought forward. I can find out and post if you guys are interested.

Please do; you mean like a shotgun side match?

Not an entire side match. Just a single stage. Kind of like an experiment since so many of us wanted it. Theres really not all that many shooters that show up. Most I've seen is 21. We've shot with as few as 10. Reason I bring up numbers is that the same few guys generally end up doing all the work. So if this requires a lot more work, it probably wont fly for long. The initial idea was to try to do it like Duke does, I think. Mainly pistol stages, with a few others thrown in. It will rotate from rifle to shotgun from month to month. IF it works out.

Anyone going to Shawnee tomorrow? They are having a 3 stage match I hear is pretty fun. I used to shoot there about 10 years ago and looking forward to going.
