Cool day fishing yesterday.

I took my daughter fishing last evening, we were kind of dinkin' around and I wasn't expecting much. Soon my daughter says "daddy, I think I got one", and she reels in a little bluegill. She is hooked (sorry) on fishing now! We are going again tonight. I got about a 2 lb black bass also, so all-in-all a good evening. I think my youngest will be my hunting/fishing partner, my oldest doesn't like it all that well.

Both of my girls (7-10) love to fish.
Just watching them hvae fun reeling one in is priceless.

I took them out today for some catfish action but we got skunked.
We'll probably head out tomorrow evening to the Bluegill hole.
I love fried whole Bluegill. MmmmmmmMmmmmm.

How do you fix the "whole" Bluegill?

You gut,scale,and cut around dorsal fin.(you can remove head if you want)
Lightly bread,and deep fry until crunchy.
You eat the them tail and all.
In the south,they serve them with grren onions rolled up in newspaper.
