Maybe we should split the classifieds up into:
gun/non-gun
or
shooting/non-shooting related

What do y'all think?

Sounds like a good idea. We get alot of non-shooting stuff with two catergories everything would stay on the front page longer so more exposure. Win-Win except for the mods.

It won't bther the mods as long as people keep their ads updated or put...THE FRIGGIN' WORD "SOLD" AT THE END OF THEIR AD!!!!!!!!!!!

How would,lets say an ad wanting to trade non-firearm "stuff" for a firearm be handled? (i hate to be difficult)

As long as the "stuff" was legal stuff, no problem. I think most people would read both sections.

I don't think its that big of a problem yet, but the more people we get on here selling, I think it would be a good idea. It would be frustrating to be searching for buying a gun, but you have to surf through all the beanie babies for sell ads! haha.

I think a non-gun related section would be good. I was just looking at the classifieds just now and found cars, motorcycles, ATV's, OU tickets, TV's, washer/dryer, medical equipment, etc.. all on page one. I don't have a problem with people selling the stuff, I just think it should be in a non-gun related section.
