I was just wondering what is the most you guys pay for binoculars. I buy and sell things from time to time and it helps to find a price bracket that people stay in. I have the steiner merlins in the classifieds and i figured they would be to high for that bracket which people buy in. Dont get me wrong you have a few exceptions to every rule but on average people usually stay in a specific range where they feel is the most they want to pay for a non essential hunting object. Sorry if ive boared you. Just wanting everyones opinion.

Its a good price. Im a fan of 10x42's and I think your steiners are a little big for bowhunting and small for deer. imo.
But the biggest problem is that its too early to scout, and hunting season's 6 months away, no one really needs binos this time of year; 'cept the birders.

OH i understand what the problems with them are i was just trying to get a census on what people usually spend for later investments. I bought them to keep but if i can make a profit i would. Thanks for your opinion though.

Nice list man i have most of that with a few exceptions mainly the nightvision. Dont get me wrong im not crying about not selling them i have them in other places that the ads havnet came out yet. I bought a cheap set of binoculars as well, i have a set of bushnell 10x42's that cost me less than 50.00 i bought them to keep and use before i got the steiners. I was just polling to get the best price range to buy in next time. I love buying things cheap and waiting for that good deal its in my blood i grew up working a used car lot that my dad had. Also how many people buy new as apposed to used? Im new to selling hunting and sproting goods i usually trade motorcross gear and bike parts.

I buy almost everything used, because its cheaper. The only time I buy new, is when I have to have something that I cannot find used.

I also try not to buy anything I cannot get my money out of later. It is nice to break even, but I have made a few dollars, on a few guns. I have lost a few dollars too.

first off i am gonna say that binos are pretty dang essential for hunting. Second off i think you sold those binos but they were awesome. If you find another pair at a good price tell me because i need me some.
