Differences between 1100 and 11-87?

Can someone please enlighten me on the differences between the Remington 1100 and 11-87? I've found new 1100 for $400 and 11-87 for $444. I've never had a semi auto, always had an 870. Will be used mainly for 3 gun type events, and maybe for close up zombie killing when they attack!:lookaroun

Yeah they do. Its in one of the local wally worlds. The worst part about it is some rotten #%&*((*^$#@! engraved Sam Walton on the side of the receiver! Ruined, I tell you!:nolike:
