I try to go to the range once a week, or once every 10-14 days, so I don't shoot much when I go. I usually shoot anywhere from 100-150 rounds. If I'm "feeling it", I'll get crazy and shoot 200 rounds. Handgun.

I try to go at least 3x a month and shoot 200- 400 rounds or so each time.

I buy 1000 rounds to shoot for the month and do my best not to accidentally buy more. :fallangel

I shoot about 200 .22 and about 50 9mm once a week. Those that shoot 300 plus rounds when does fatigue kick in.

I usually bring 250 9mm, and the wife and I split 6 boxes of .45acp. So around 150 45, and 150-250 9mm. Try to get out once a week.
Honestly, I should probably shoot a little less, The last 50-100 rds aren't as accurate as the eariler rds. But's its fun none the less.
I'll shoot 250 rounds of pistol and 100 to 300 rounds through the old AR. I will switch guns when I start getting that glazed look in my eye.

I'll shoot 100-200 rounds centerfire pistol, and prob. 200-400 rounds rimfire pistol and I get to go about every other week.

Only about 100-150 rounds of .40 or .45 ACP.
50-100 rounds of .44 Mag.
20-30 rounds of .308.
75-100 rounds of 12 ga.
100-200 rounds of .223.
Not all in the same trip though:D Those are almost always separate trips but occassionally two are combined.

Man, you need to switch more often.

Or maybe you need a few more switches, I don't know?

I always shoot 100rds or better thru my carry gun. Then I'm in the middle of playing with my 223 Contender and different loads so usually 100-150 thru it. Several hundred rounds of 22 thru the Striker and Mitshell while the 223 cools down. If its an all day thing I usually have 50 or so 308's to run thru the Striker. And then bits and pieces thru what ever other barrel I'm toying with.

I come to every training session with a written plan of what I want to accomplish.
Thus it keeps me focused and then a max of 200 rounds goes a long way.
I try to get two sessions per week on the range.
I dry-fire 20 minutes per night and use the range to confirm my dry-fire training.

the last time i went:
400 .45acp
approx 200 9mm
100 38spl
50 22lr
the time before:
500+ 45acp
150 9mm
50 40
12 44 mag
one mag of 10mm
I don't get to the range very often. umm, fatigue has never bothered me except for when i shot a 637 airweight. then I felt the pain in the web of my hand after (3) .357magum rounds!!

good point; I dry fire 3-4x what I live fire.
You guys that keep the pistols in the rug between range trips are missing out on some good practice/training.

Hey YukonGlocker. Good question. I bought the G26 a week ago. Not sure if you saw, but a couple of days ago I bought a Bushmaster AR-15(awesome deal) from a fellow OSA member. My fiancé informed me nicely that I can't keep both :nolike:. I agreed since I have a few handguns and would like to diversify my collection! Nothing against Glocks, but I need money to fund this AR-15 project. BTW, if anyone is interested please make me an offer...I need the money ASAP!:thumb:

Thanks for asking YukonGlocker!:)
Has anyone ever used the Laseraim(?) device? I can't think of the name of it now, but you put a spud and a laser in your gun and shot at a target and it would score you. Wonderful dry firing device. There is even one you can hook up to your computer. I don't know if is old age or because it is 5:00 a.m., but I can't recall what it is called. We sold them when I was still at OAS.

Maybe you're thinking of THIS (http://laserammo.com/)?
It looks pretty cool to me. :)
I like to get to the range once or twice a month. I will usually fire a total of:
100 - 22
150 - 45, 9mm, 380 and soon .40
That is a total of 150, not 150 of each. I'm too cheap to throw too much cash down range. ;)

the 41 magnum is all reloads.....the AK and AR ammo is all w
olf, so its all fairly cheap to shoot.
Hey Pete156, you are close. I will have to do a little research to remember the name. It is similar, but comes with a target that scores for you. Kind of like being married! I used to drive the cashiers nuts with it.
