Sorry, I know I posted a picture of my new baby in the other post but I felt it deserved a post of it's own. So here it is my new STI trojan.... :woot:

I am taking this thing to H&H probably a couple of times this weekend. It's making me upset I haven't fired one round from it at all as of yet.

Very nice, congrats! What caliber is that? Where did you but it at?

IT's a .45 auto. I bought it from Will at H&H. I swear though we went through every 1911 in the store but something just grabbed me about this one. Maybe it's that whole "bang for the buck" thing... :)

That's hot. After seeing that and some of 1911Sooner's prettys, I'm really starting to think I should get one.
It might not fit in well with my collection of plastic.

Do you say that because it has the best price, best quality, or something else?

Didn't the Trojans lose the big war they fought?

That is one sweet gun! If I"m at H&H, and see somebody shooting one of those, I'm going to say "hi". It might be you!

We all are probably the bulk of the shooters there. Stepper needs an OKS shirt to identify himself.

Many feel that STI puts out one of the best deals for a semi-custom. I think it's one of the best deals for a 1911 under a $1k.
It's only a few hundred more than most Kimbers, Colts, etc and you can tell where it went. No MIM, Series 70, true handfitting, etc...
Nic pics. I need a better camera. :nolike:

I was at H & H yesterday and today and it shoots like a dream. The sights were off and had me shooting high and left plus I didn't like th all black sight so I had the gunsmith put HI-ViS front sight on it. I didn't adjust the rear sights yet though because the HI-VIS sits a little higher than the stock sights so I'll keep sighting it in until I get it perfect.
I should be in htere tomorrow though as well. So if you see me go ahead and say hi I may not seem it but I am friendly.

I'm always there with my dad. I'm rarely there without him!
If/when we get our shirts, I'll definately wear it when I go to the range!
I guarantee I've seen several of you down there and didn't know it.

Stepper Are you shooting tomorrow?
I'm not sure yet. I have alot of errands to run. I've also got the kids tomorrow, so I don't think I'll be able to go since I don't have anybody to watch them.
Are you going?
If I end up going, I'll post it here and maybe see you there.
I would say its about 80% no 20% yes.

Tomorrow meant today. I posted it at midnight.
I won't shoot tomorrow since I'll have the little one with me. I hope to go later this week.

Oh, I didn't notice that. Had to work today, so I'm off tomorrow. I'd like to go, but probably won't. I won't be able to go the rest of the week.
