My wife wants and AR for her birthday.:faint: She likes the RRA tactical entry model but also likes the Bushmaster AR with composite receivers. She has not had the opportunity to shoot either, just my old SP1. She is a tiny thing and likes the Bushmaster better because it is lighter.

Sooooo...my question is anyone out there had any experiences or opinions on the models with composite receivers? How do they hold up to having lots (1000s) of rounds run through them? Is the recoil noticably different due to the guns lack of weight?

I am all ears!

look into the cavalry arms one piece lowers, too.
No experience with those or the bm lowers, though.

I bought this one about three weeks ago.I've got around 400 rounds thru it so far. It's shot just a good as my old metal Bushy. It's a Carbon 15 Model 4.Weight savings is huge.My GF  has shot about 300 of those rounds and loves it.So really what I'm saying is that it's not mine anymore!!!
