The bass were hot today!

I went to Murray today. Tore them up. I had the best day I have ever had at Murray. Not only lots of bass, but good quality bass. We mostly caught smallmouth; the smallmouth were on fire!!!

I also caught a good sunburn. We planned on being off the lake by 12:00. We couldn't leave b/c the fish were hitting so good. I'm a happy man.:) :thumb:

Monday was OK morning for me. Caught a few large mouth.

As a rule, I always take a camera. When I got up yesterday morning I was running a little late. I thought: I don't need a camera, I'm just going to Murray. So I left without one. I really wish I would have brought my camera; we caught 4 over 4lbs., and 2 over 5lbs.. We also caught many 2-4 lb. fish. I know these aren't record setting fish, but if you know Murray these are very big fish.

I was thinking large mouth in your previous post until your last one cleared that up. That is awesome, 5lb. is approaching state records.:thumb:
